Hero of the Seas

Announced as the newest addition to Royal Caribbean's Icon Class, the upcoming Hero of the Seas (scheduled to debut in August 2027) will homeport in Miami, Florida. The ship is slated to sail seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, with every voyage featuring a stop at the cruise line's private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay. Onboard, passengers will find a wealth of record-breaking attractions, including a sprawling Category 6 waterpark equipped with six thrilling slides, featuring the first-ever funnel raft slide at sea. Multigenerational families can book the first-of-its-kind Ultimate Family Treehouse, a massive three-story suite for up to 12 guests that includes a rooftop terrace, private whirlpool, and a teen hideout. For relaxation, the ship offers an industry-leading nine distinct pools, highlighted by the brand-new Coconut Cove and an expanded adults-only Hideaway boasting the largest swim-up bar at sea. Finally, guests can choose from 28 dining venues, including the ship-exclusive Orleans Parish Supper Club, which pairs classic Cajun and Creole dishes with craft cocktails and live jazz.
